Shop Terms & Conditions
(1) Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be simpler, just add the item(s) you wish to buy by adding them to your ‘shopping basket’. When you are done, click ‘checkout’ and choose which login option you would like to proceed with.
After you have either logged in to your existing account or set one up, then the different postage options available will then be listed. Choose the appropriate option and click continue. You will then be directed to Paypal where you can either log in to your Paypal account if you have one or pay with your Debit or Credit Card. After paying please make sure you RETURN TO OUR SITE when instructed otherwise there will be delays in processing your order.
We use Sage Pay to collect/process transaction information’ and provide link to our security policy at http://www.sagepay.co.uk/policies/security-policy
(2) Shipping and Handling
All items will be packaged with bubble wrap and any additional packaging necessary to reduce the chance of damage in transit. We only use new boxes and jiffy bags. A small charge is included in the postage cost to cover packaging and handling.
(3) Delivery Schedule
Once payment has been received we will aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours, where possible the same day.
Items should arrive within the following timescale, however we cannot guarantee this on behalf of the Royal Mail, therefore please allow 28 days for delivery.
You must wait 15 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel and 20 working days for European orders, only after this time we can file a claim and send out a replacement order.
- UK / Channel Islands and European Countries Postage Rates
- UK Flat Rate 1-6 days (Non Urgent Orders) £2.95 Parcels will be sent with Royal mail 1st class and should arrive within 1-6 working days. Please allow longer during Bank Holidays. Items are insured up to £32 but are not tracked.
- Airmail Europe Standard Rate (5-14 days Delivery Time) £5.90 Orders being sent to Europe are sent via Airmail which takes 5-14 days to arrive. Items are insured up to £32 but are not tracked.
- Alternative Delivery Requirements Please contact us at email@example.com if you have alternative delivery requirements e.g., next day delivery, courier delivery etc.
- Delivery to the Rest of the World We deliver to most global regions. If you require delivery outside of Europe please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a delivery quote which will include cost of delivery and estimated delivery time.
CHCUK Ltd respect our customers privacy and do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Any information disclosed to us is only used by us for the order and dispatch process. The only information that we see is your name, address, phone number and email address.
The Merchant that we use is Paypal which automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using ‘Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Look out for the yellow padlock in the bottom right of your browser as you enter the Checkout section of our site. We do not see any of your credit card information as this is dealt with directly by Paypal.
(5) Returns Policy
The following returns policy applies only to hardcopy purchases.
CHCUK Ltd are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s) but if for any reason you wish to return an item we provide a 7 day period starting from the day after the item(s) are delivered in which you can return your purchase. You must notify us at email@example.com with your order number and item you wish to send back before returning it to us. All items must be returned in a saleable condition. A refund will then be issued within 30 days.
Postage, packing and returns postage are direct costs and we regret that they cannot be refunded (applicable only if the item isn’t damaged or faulty).
If items are received damaged then we must be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what is wrong with the item(s). The damaged item(s) will need to be returned to us with all the original packing and parts. Postage costs incurred by the customer in order to send it back to us will be refunded. A replacement will then be sent out (subject to stock availability) or if not available then a refund will be given which will include the postage cost originally paid by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
If the product is to be returned due to packing error, administration error or if the item is faulty you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods must be returned within 7 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit that are returned to us. It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us, we therefore recommend that you send the package by Recorded / Special Delivery.
We are not currently registered for VAT.
